GrindMedia anunciou que a revista Skateboarder Magazine , a mais tradicional revista de skateboard do planeta irá encerrar suas atividades, impressas e plataformas digitais. Esta semana Skateboarder vai lançar sua terceira edição digital e a edição limitada versão impressa, que será sua edição final.
“Infelizmente, as condições de mercado nos obrigou a ter que tomar a difícil decisão de cessar a publicação”, disse Norb Garrett, vice-presidente sênior do Grupo GrindMedia. “É especialmente decepcionante, dado o forte interesse e sucesso inicial que tivemos com as novas edições com o foco digita; , a nossa equipe Skateboarder trabalhou muito para produzir um produto de ponta que tem sido bem sucedido em alcançar uma maior audiência online.

This week Skateboarder will release its third digital edition and companion limited edition print version, which will be its final edition.“Unfortunately market conditions have forced us to have to make the difficult decision to cease publication of Skateboarder,” said Norb Garrett, SVP Group Publisher of GrindMedia. “It’s especially disappointing given the strong interest and initial success we’ve had with the new digitally focused editions; our Skateboarder team has worked incredibly hard producing a cutting-edge product that has been successful at reaching a larger audience online.
